Visitations

One of our main purposes of ministry is to call on the sick in the hospital or at home. We also call on those living in nursing facilities and inmates in prison. Let us know when any members of your family or friends are ill so we can remember them in our prayers. If a visit would be of benefit please contact us.

Funerals

Holy Spirit Ministries does not have a place of worship at this time. We can arrange to hold a service at the Funeral home and the final place of rest. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Sacrament of Marriage

Holy Spirit Ministries does not have a place of worship at this time. We can arrange to hold a service at a place selected by the bride and groom.
Please contact us to make arrangements three months prior to the desired date.

Vocation Information

The North American Old Catholic Church invites you to consider carefully the option of ordained ministry. Those who are interested in learning more about a vocation to the diaconate, priesthood or religious life are encouraged to contact us directly.

Sacraments of Initiation
(Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist)

At the present time Holy Spirit Ministries does not have a place of worship. We hope to be able to offer these services in the future in our own church. Please watch our website for further information. However, we can offer families the Sacrament of Baptism in the sanctity of their home. Please contact us to make arrangements.

Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick

The sacrament is offered by appointment either in the home of the person who is ill or on a visit to the hospital. If you know someone who is in need of a pastoral visit and/or Anointing, please notify us immediately.

Donations for Services

Members of the clergy are not permitted to charge for pastoral services. Such practices are called simony. However, our clergy appreciate your donation to help them defray their costs. It may be that those in need of services cannot afford more than a token offering, or perhaps even nothing. Please do not worry; we are committed to service in the name of Christ and we will still confer the sacraments for anyone in need.

Visitations: A donation is never requested for us to call on any person in need.

Funeral: A donation is requested for the Vigil, Funeral Service and interment.

Wedding: A donation of for Interview, Wedding, and Rehearsal will be discussed.
